- Yfirflokkur: Fréttir
Þessi vika flaug áfram hjá okkur hér á Krílalandi. Það er svo gaman að sjá hvað þau eru alltaf að verða betri og betri í samleik. Leikirnir er fjölbreyttir og flestir duglegir að láta leikinn flæða, þ.e. að finna upp á nýju þegar allt virðist stopp í leiknum. Í útiverunni hafa nokkrir verið í eltingaleikjum með tilheyrandi látum og fjöri. Þá vill stundum kastast í kekki þegar ákafinn verður of mikill. Við ræðum málin við þau og grípum inn í til að breyta slíkum leikjum.
Leikur að læra: Við héldum áfram með lotu 4 í vikunni og æfðum meðal annars hljóð stafa og litaheiti. Þá vorum við með nöfn þeirra á renningi og þau voru ótrúlega dugleg að þekkja nafnið sitt sjálf. Við æfðum okkur að ganga á tánum, á jörkunum og fara í kollhnís.
Blær: Ísold kom með myndaplakat þar sem barn var að bíta annað barn. Miklar umræður spunnust útfrá því. Börnin æfðu einnig að nudda sig sjálf með bolta.
Hópastarf: Í vikunni æfðum við fjölda, að telja og telja. Markmiðið er að þau læri tölustaf og fjöldann á bak við hann. Höfum mest verið að æfa upp í fimm eins og er.
This week flew by us here in Krílaland. It is so nice to see how they are always getting better and better in interplay. Their games are diverse and most of them is good in getting a flow in the game, that is find something new when the games seems stopped or finished. In our outdoor play we have noticed that some of the children are in rather lively games (chasing each other). When the fun get to much to handle then someone ends up crying. We do talk with them about it and try to go early in the game to change it.
Play to learn more: We did continue with session 4 this week and among other things we practied the sound of the letters and name of colors. We also had their names printed on pice of paper and they were really good in recognicing their own name. We also practiced to walk on our toes, instep walking, and do a somersault.
Blær: Ísold came with a picture of a child biting another child. We had a lot dicussion about that. They also did massage themself with a ball.
Group work: We have been counting a lot this week. We are trying to get them to recognice a number and how many are behind the number. We have been counting up to five.

Í vikunni hefur verið nóg að gera hjá okkur. Skipulögð stundaskrá komin á fullt skrið og yndislegt rigningarveður hefur litað vikuna hjá okkur.
Leikur að læra: Við héldum áfram með lotu 4 í vikunni og æfðum litaheiti og flokkun bæði inni á deild og í salnum.
Blær: Ísold æfði vináttu með þeim, t.d. að draga lit og leiða þann sem dró annan lit. Einnig las hún bók um Litla skrímslið og stóra skrímslið enda mikið fjallað um vináttu í þeim bókum.
Hópastarf: Í vikunni æfðum við bæði afstöðuhugtök (fyrir framan, undir o.s.frv.) og einnig andstæður (heitur, kaldur, stór, lítill o.s.frv.)
We have had a plenty to do this week. Our schedule is on full course and also did we have a lovely rainy weather this week!
Play to learn more: We continued with session four this week and practied the name of colors and classification of it both in Krílaland and our gymnastic room.
Blær: Íslold did practice some friendship with them fx. pick a color and hold hands with the child who has the same color. She also read a book about the Little monster and the big monster. Friendship is usually part of those stories.
Group work: This week we practied both postitional concepts (in front of, under etc.) and also contrasts (hot / cold, big / little etc.).

Það var gott að komast aftur í leikskólann og í rútínuna á nýjan leik. Börnin komu glöð og kát til baka og ekki laust við að mörg hver hafi stækkað í fríinu! Við höfum verið heilmikið útivið og einnig tekið Blæ stund og Leikur að læra í salnum. Vasaljósadagur var svo í dag og vakti mikla lukku að lýsa á eitt og annað í myrkrinu.
Leikur að læra: Við byrjuðum á lotu 4 í þessari viku og rifjuðum upp stafina okkar og hljóð
þeirra. Einnig erum við að æfa okkur að telja. Ferðamátinn er lóðréttur að þessu sinni og
æfðum við t.d. jafnvægi á jafnvægisslá. Nú megum við nota salinn aftur og voru börnin mjög
glöð að komast í hann.
Blær: Ísold kom til okkar og talaði um hjálpsemi. Að ef barn t.d. meiðir sig hvað getum við gert til að aðstoða. Hvernig líður þeim sem meiddi sig og þeim sem hjálpar.
Hópastarf: Við breyttum hópunum örlítið nú um áramótin og hefur það komið vel út. Hóparnir eru saman í matartímum, í Leikur að læra og hópastarfi. Við höfum aðeins verið að ræða flugelda og jólin í vikunni. Nokkrir teiknuðu flugelda með klessulitum á svartan pappír.
It was nice to get back to the kindergarten and start our routine again. The children came happy and merry back to us and it seems that many have grown a lot in their vactation! We have been outside a lot and also had Blæ session and Play to learn more session in our gymnastic room this week.
Play to learn more: We started session 4 this week and reviewed the letters and it‘s sound. We are also practing to count. The mode of transport between places is vertical. We did f.x. practie balance on a blance bar. We can now use our gymnastic room again and everybody was really happy about it.
Blær: Ísold came to us and talked about helping others (helpfullness). If someone hurt it self
what can we do help. How do the child that hurt it self feel and how to the child feel that
came to help.
Group work: We did changed the groups a little bit this week and it has worked fine. The groups are together in the meal times, Play to learn more and group work. We have been discussing fireworks and christmas this week. Some of the children used soft and bright colors on black paper to make some fireworks.
